THE STORY
Timid data analyst Marigold Williams leads a quiet, uneventful life, trapped in the monotony of her daily routine. Everything changes when she encounters the alluring and enigmatic Avery at her favorite bar. Intrigued by Avery’s magnetic presence, Marigold accepts an invitation to her apartment, but the evening takes a sinister turn when Avery attempts to drug her. Just as Marigold raises the glass to her lips, Avery intervenes and hastily sends her home.
Days later, Avery reaches out to invite Marigold for dinner, hoping to mend the awkwardness of their first meeting. Upon arrival, Marigold finds the door ajar, only to uncover a shocking secret: Avery is a banshee, a cannibalistic being who survives by feeding on human organs. To Marigold’s astonishment, Avery allows her to leave unharmed. Captivated by the danger that surrounds Avery, Marigold offers to assist her in her deadly hunt for sustenance, igniting a chaotic love affair.
When her coworker Melanie sabotages Marigold’s chance at a promotion, Marigold pleads with Avery to transform her into a banshee. Torn between love and fear, Avery reluctantly agrees.
